Google Proof Trivia - Travel Trivia

Travel Trivia for November 13th, 2014

Today's Google Proof Trivia is Travel Trivia!

  1. Read the below story.
  2. Each of the 5 sentences is a vague reference to a location.
  3. Identify each of the 5 locations.
  4. Identify the common theme among the 5 locations and why that location fits into the them.
  5. Post the overall theme, all 5 locations, and why each location belongs to the theme to Facebook.

The details are vague and will require deep knowledge or some research so the difficulty level is high.

It's not easy, but then it wouldn’t be "Google Proof Trivia" if it was, would it?

Today's journey is very hard. Our first stop is essentially off the map and the closest city is surrounded by Bartlett, Duncan and a Slave. Next we go to the town which gets its original name from a Portuguese Oak. After that we go to the place where a group of about 20 species of small to medium-sized marsupials run near a Lily Creek. We then head to the spot that is the opposite of 24.7 -24.6. Finally we end out journey at the second biggest hole we dug.
