What is Trivium Cum Laude?

Who?

This is for any trivia player looking to make their alma mater proud with their fellow alumni.

What?

A new trivia tournament where you can prove that your alma mater is smarter than anyone else's second-rate school.

When?

The TCL season roughly aligns with the college semester schedule. The Fall season is from September through December, the Spring season from January through April, and the Summer season from May through August. Trivium Cum Laude will be held weekly at participating venues, just like normal District Trivia events.

Where?

Trivia will be regular weekly events at select venues. Buffalo Billiards on Mondays at 7:30pm, Penn Social on Wednesdays at 7:00pm, and Tommy Joe's on Wednesdays at 7:30pm.

Why?

To give you a chance to represent your alma mater in trivia, to meet other like minded alumni, and to prove your alma mater's dominance in all knowledge. We'll also be giving away gift cards to nightly winners and an alumni party with a $250 tab to the winning school at the end of each season.

How?

We'll provide a traditional District Trivia format with our typical grab bag of questions, no changes or surprises there. Your team name must represent your alma mater. Already a team representing your alma mater? Join them! Trivium Cum Laude is open like that. This allows your fellow alumni, whether you've met or not, to join your team on any given week. Score as many points as possible each night during trivia. The alma mater with the highest single nightly score during each season will win an watch party with a $250 food/drink tab at their venue.
